CBPE led the management buy-out of Yorkshire-based Allied Glass Containers (AGC) from Associated British Foods plc. AGC is the UK's leading manufacturer of glass containers for premium consumer products such as spirits and fine foods. It specialises in making containers which have complex shapes, such as flasks, flagons and proprietary bottles for specific brands. AGC employs 580 people across its two manufacturing sites in Leeds and Knottingley.
