In August 2010, CBPE invested £20m in support of AMF Bowling's acquisition of Hollywood Bowl.

The new company, which has been re-branded The Original Bowling Company, is the largest ten pin bowling operator in the UK with 42 sites. Its bowling centres are typically located on high footfall, multi-use retail/leisure parks.
