Minova International

In April 2003, CBPE completed the buy-out of Minova International (formerly known as Fosroc Mining) from Burmah Castrol, a subsidiary of BP. Minova is the world-leader in the supply of chemicals used to enhance safety and efficiency in the coal-mining, metal-mining and tunneling markets. The products manufactured include resin capsules, injection grouts and powders. The company has 13 manufacturing sites in seven countries, with key facilities in the USA, Germany, Poland, Australia and South Africa.  CBPE exited its investment by trade sale to Orica Limited, an Australian quoted company, for £360m.
