Headquartered in Cuckfield, West Sussex, Moody has an international network of 100 offices in 61 countries, many of which offer both inspection and certification services. The main areas of operation are UK, USA, Western Europe, Japan, Azerbaijan, China, Russia and Kazakhstan.

CBPE backed the $55m MBO from Reliance Insurance Group in April 2004. CBPE realised its investment via a secondary MBO financed by Investcorp in February 2007.
