CBPE (Close Brothers Private Equity Limited) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ted Bell and Mathew Hutchinson as Investment Managers, to expand the team to 13 executives.

Ted Bell (30) joins CBPE following three years at 3i where he specialised in buy-outs and growth capital investments. Prior to this, Ted spent five years with Unilever whom he joined directly as a graduate from Cambridge University.

Mathew Hutchinson (30) joins CBPE following eight years at Andersen where he spent five years working in Leeds before moving to London. During this time he worked for six years in corporate finance, specialising in private equity and leveraged transactions. Mathew joined Andersen directly from university and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
