Moody is a leading global provider of visual inspection, personnel supply and project support services primarily to the oil and gas industry. It also has a significant ISO certification business that supplies a broad global client base.

Moody, with annual sales of £150m to December 2006 and headquartered in Cuckfield, West Sussex has an international network of 100 offices in 61 countries, many of which offer both inspection and certification services. The main areas of operation are UK, USA, Western Europe, Japan, Azerbaijan, China, Russia and Kazakhstan.

CBPE backed the $55m MBO from Reliance Insurance Group in April 2004. CBPE exited Moody International to Investcorp and management team in February 2007.
