Tractiv, which trades under the names Bepco and Tracpieces, distributes spare parts and accessories for agricultural equipment on a global scale.

It focuses on vehicles that are out of warranty and which are typically over five years old, sourcing non-OEM equipment and supplying local distributors and agricultural workshops. Manufacturers covered include: Massey Ferguson, Case, John Deere, Volvo and Renault. The business has particular strength in NW Europe but its customer base spans the globe.

CBPE backed the MBO of Tractiv with £2.5m of funding in October 2002. Since that time, the business has upgraded its facilities, opening new distribution warehouses in the UK and Belgium, and has significantly expanded its product offering. CBPE sold to GB Group for £14.6m in February 2007.

The disposal to GB Group, an Italian industrial group, is a logical next step for Tractiv. GB Group has operations in Europe and North America and will provide Tractiv with access to increased distribution and new markets.
