CBPE financed Motorauction's managing director in the buy-out of his ex-partner's shareholding, in January 1995. Motorauctions Leeds operates a car and commercial vehicle auction business from a single site in Leeds. Prior to exit the business had repaid all its preference share capital to the Fund, which together with cumulative dividends generated a healthy uplift on original cost. In March 2004 CBPE sold its remaining minority shareholding for a good profit.
